This morning I met a guy at the pump. The first thing I noticed was his car - gorgeous fast Acura, then I heard his voice - deep and raspy, and I got to see a little bit of his mind - he was offering great advice to a newly married friend of his. I thought for sure he would be too old, married, or just not attractive - to my surprise, there was not a wedding band, he is cute and around the same age as I!
So we started off talking about cars, he is a GM of a car dealership and ended up swapping business cards. I hope he calls ... I'm not a chaser, however I might need to be. And since I'm tired of being single, I will be!

Hello
I decided to start this blog to share my journey towards marriage.
I recently turned 30 and my family is wondering if I will ever settle down. I have dated and been in seriously relationships, but have yet to find that someone I can share my life with. I moved to Rhode Island from North Carolina almost a year ago.I applied yesterday to be ABC's next Bachelorette - and in case it doesn't happen, I decided to create my own "show". I invite you to share any local pick-up spots that you believe I should try.
This blog will share my exploits in finding Mr. Right.
